Description

GenevaGuide provides the essential tourist information in graphics, tables and texts for offline use. For example, for sightseeing, only the must see places are presented, with desciption of the place and public transport information.

It is divided into 5 sections : sights, shops, eats, culture, and others.

In the sights section, 6 major sightseeing places are presented. In the shop section, there are subsections for watches, departmental stores, chocolates, swiss army knife, shopping streets. Since Geneva is famous for luxury watches, we have included an extensive subsection on the luxury watch brands present in Geneva, with a short description of the brands history, and a map showing their location in the Rue du Rhone. There is also a page on the history of watchmaking in Geneva.

In the Eats section, there are recommendations of restaurants, cafes, pubs and even cafeterias and fast food places. Art galleries, recommended museums and cinemas are presented in the Culture section, which contain also a list of interesting festivals in Geneva.

Of course, you can find also a list of hotels here. There are also some recommendations for nearby excursions. These are contained in the Others section.
