This is a Star Gazing application which will guide you to recogonize all the bright stars in the night sky! Just hold up and point the phone at the sky to see what stars, constellations and deep sky objects you are looking at in realtime. Full utilization of the build-in gyroscope, digital compass and accelerometer drive the best user experience.

With the cutting edge signal processing technique, gyroscope and the raw data directly from the build-in digital compass chip instead of the existing degree provided by Core Location API, this app has a super reaction speed and high accruacy, you must try it out and see how fast it is ;)

Features:
Augmented Reality! With iPhone 4, the build-in gyroscope will be fully utilized and combined with the accelerometer/compass in order to offer you a full position sensitive experience. Just hold up and point the phone at the sky to see what stars, constellations and deep sky objects you are looking at in realtime.
Over 8000 stars with magnitude less than 6.5, which can be observed by naked human eyes in the evening.

Location will be retieved by GPS and user can also set any other location on the world.
Time and date can be adjusted smoothly, for user to see the motion of the stars at anytime.

Usage:
On the Buttom Right there is the main menu expand icon which can hide/show the main menu, user can adjust the diaplay of name, constellation, deep sky object, night mode, star amount and grid mode by the different tabs on the menu.
On the Top Right there is the search menu, which have 5 tabs (Solar system, 12 Zodiac Constellation, 88 Constellation, Deep Sky Object and Famous Stars) that allow user to search the object.
On the Top Left there is the location menu, which let user to choose your current location from a world map.
On the Top bar is the time/date adjust menu, which let user to adjust any time/date and see the motion of the stars at anytime.
On the Buttom Left is the Compass indicator when in star track mode, if under un-track mode, it's the track button to return to track mode after click it.
User can pan the sky to enter un-track mode and click track button to return to track mode.

Tips:
When user search any object under un-track mode, the object will be locked at the center of the screen, then user can adjust time/date to see changes of the related sky.
When under un-track mode, use can lift up the screen and point it to the sky to enter track mode.

IMPORTANT: Star Tracker using the build-in gyroscope of iPhone4/iPhone4S/iPad2 and not support the other models.

Fantastic app for night sky enthusiasts (5 stars)
This app is fantastic. Using GPS, Gyro and Compass, point at the sky and you'll see what you are looking at. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the planets and the stars but I have always been interested.

Movement tracking is so smooth. Graphics is just so beautiful, too.

This app is very, very well made. Five stars isn't enough.

@don't waste time! There probably something wrong with ur iPod/iPhone/iPad. This app work AMAZINGLY! Im so happy it was free but I'm surprised you didn't have to pay for this good of quality
