Augmented Car Finder allows you to find your car wherever you parked it. Once you load the application, in the augmented reality view you can see the direction it is located, the street address close to your present position, and the street address close to where you parked.

Features:

Augmented Reality technology

Don't lose time reading maps. Just follow the moving arrow and you'll get back to your car!

Select between two levels of accuracy: normal (faster) and high (you can then find your car in the largest parking facility or behind the most remote street corner!)

You can use it for anything you want to get back to, not only your car!

Last but not least... it's FREE!

Important Note. Augmented Car Finder needs iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S: the application uses the magnetic compass to show the Augmented Reality view.

Instructions:
- Once your car has been parked, tap the "Car Finder" button and choose the GPS accuracy.
- Now the car position has been saved and you can close the application.
- When you need to get back to your car, open the application and follow the directional arrow and the indications in the augmented reality view.
- To save a new position, just tap "Car Finder" button again.

Note: Augmented Car Finder IS INTENDED TO BE USED OUTDOOR.

Inaccurate, Battery Waster (1 star)
While the app is a good idea, it does not seem to work well at close range - like trying to find my car in a busy airport parking lot. Several times I've set the location of my car, outdoors, using the High Accuracy setting. Immediately it shows my car to be about 50 feet in the opposite direction. From a long distance away this may be ok, but a few days later it was no help. I had better luck with my car remote, chirping the horn when

Works as advertised. Don't use the app that often but when you need it like at the airport, it works great.

Good Enough (3 stars)
As a free app, it works as expected. It's not perfect but I still get back to my car. That is mostly due in part to reinforcement when I have to pull up the app and "mark" my car.
