Description

This is a classic workout of CrossFit road warriors and affiliates alike. The CrossFit Deck of Cards - aka "Deck of Death".

Infinitely customizable and simple to understand.

The setup is a standard deck of 54 cards, including jokers.

Each suit represents an exercise and each card equals the number of reps (face cards are 10 reps, Aces are 20 reps). The Jokers are assigned to something that you will only do once and will suck (ie 50 Burpees or 500m Row).

A clock is started and the athletes begin turning over a single card, performing the number of reps and specific exercise depending on the card.

The objective is to get through the deck as quickly as possible. The workout takes about 30 minutes, and yes, it's harder than it sounds.

You can do this workout anywhere, with little or no equipment. Pick any four - Pushups, squats, lunges, box jumps, pullups, thrusters, overhead squats, KTEs, Back extensions, jumping burpee pullups, situps, tire slams, the list is endless.

Now instead of hauling around a deck of cards like you're the next David Blaine, you can easily use the CF Deck of Cards app. Not only is it easy to use, but you don't have to think about which exercise to perform for each suit, it's all right there on the screen.

Good app (4 stars)
It's decent, however their is no workout summary, or a history of completed workouts, but it's decent and worth it.

EXCELLENT APP (5 stars)
Perfect app for days that the prescribed WOD just isn't doing it for you. Keeps you guessing! Plus allows you to put in any exercise! Certain exercise combinations can make for a long WOD. recommend faster cardio exercise for jokers i.e. Box jumps, toes to bar etc.
MUST HAVE FOR ANY CROSSFITTER!

This is a great app, the only thing you should add is a history of workouts performed and the time it took to perform then.
