Yes there are some "adult" phrases, however if you look at the ratings it does say infrequent crude humor or suggestive themes. I personally think the phrases in this app are hilarious. Would I want my 9 year old learning them, probably not. However some of the words they pick up at school are far worse indeed. Now someone that is 13 or older, by all means I think this is ok for them. And for the price. Co Great! (5 stars) I am a teacher for the Deaf and I love this app. There are many reviews saying it is not "family friendly," but ASL is a language with curses just like any other, and this app does not exclue phrases that one might come across in the Deaf world, and it should not lose credibility for that. It has many phrases and ASL idioms, and a great dictionary of signs. There were a few signs I was looking for that it lacked, but those were ver Real world entries (4 stars) It does crash often, but as others have said it loads very quickly so it's not necessarily a deal breaker. As for complaints about it being 'adult' that's what makes this dictionary unique. I'm around deaf people a lot and this stuff comes up so it's useful to know. I flip through this sometimes to remind myself of different slang phrases and find it helpful.
